Hello, I am back from my mini-hiatus with full energy and a lot of plans. Things have been pretty harsh on my side of the world but that's life, all we can do is be kind and brave. Hope you are doing well. Starting now you find more from me since we have a lot to catch up on. This is a wrap-up post of April and May all the dramas I am watching and loving recently.

In case you missed it: February and March Wrap Up

DOUBLE PATTY (MOVIE)

Korean movie Double Patty, starring Irene and Shin Seung Ho (kdramaomo)

THOUGHTS: I was looking forward to this film ever since its trailer dropped. I have a lot to say and simultaneously nothing to say about this movie. I am still debating whether I should write a review of it or not. All I can say about this movie is that Irene is in it and she looks pretty. Take what you will from this.

VINCENZO

Netflix Kdrama Vincenzo, Song Joong Ki and Jeon Yeo Bin (kdramaomo)

THOUGHTS: Two reviews of Vincenzo are currently in my drafts waiting to be edited. So please wait for the next update for my thoughts. The only thing I can say here is that this drama was really good (and a hint of bad but let's discuss it in my review).

Dramas I am currently watching

DOOM AT YOUR SERVICE

Kdrama Doom At Your Service, Seo In Guk, Park Bo Young (kdramaomo)

WHAT IS IT ABOUT: A girl's already harsh life comes to a crashing halt when she is diagnosed with brain cancer and 100 days to live. Fed up with the world, she drunkenly calls upon Myeol Mang (Doom) to the world. Lucky for her, Doom really wants the world to end.

THOUGHTS: I am a sucker for fantasy romance, I don't know what is it about them but they always hook me up and catch feelings for the characters. Doom at your Service so far has been living up to my expectations. Seo In Guk and Park Bo Young are just perfect in it. I am loving it.

SELL YOUR HAUNTED HOUSE

Kdrama Sell Your Haunted House, Jang Nara, Jung Yong Hwa (kdramaomo)

WHAT IS IT ABOUT: An exorcist and a con man who doesn't believe in ghosts team up to exorcise vengeful and lingering spirits from haunted houses and resell them.

THOUGHTS: The drama has its highs and lows but it is a good time-pass drama to watch. Both leads are great for their roles respectively. I have never seen Jang Na Ra in a role quite like this one, she looks absolutely stunning in this. Don't go in this drama expecting romance you will find very few hints of it but not much.

This is a horror, supernatural, not-at-all-scary genre. If you like dramas like Hotel Del Luna, Mystic Pop-Up Bar, and Master's Sun you should check it out.

SO I MARRIED AN ANTI-FAN

Kdrama So I married an anti fan, Choi Tae Joon and Choi Soo Young (kdramaomo)

WHAT IS IT ABOUT: Enemies to Lover story of a K-pop idol and his self-proclaimed fan. (They don't actually marry, they are filming a reality show.)

THOUGHTS: This drama has become my guilty pleasure. It's cheesy asf but my god I was dying for a good cheese-fest in kdramas. This one is not a flawless drama, it has a lot of moments when it feels off but the cheese... the cheese... I am living for.

LAW SCHOOL

Netflix Kdrama Law School, Kim Bum, Ryu Hye Young (kdramaomo)

WHAT IS IT ABOUT: When a murder occurs at a prestigious law school, justice is put to the test by a tough law professor and a group of ambitious students.

THOUGHTS: For me, this drama started on a low note. It's either because I was expecting too much from it or because the starting 4-5 episodes were a bit dull. I found myself struggling to keep up with the drama. There was something that was not clicking for me but I am glad I pushed through this one. It gets better as it goes. Hopefully, I will manage to finish this drama and tell you my exact thoughts on it pretty soon.

Dropped Dramas

OH MY LADYLORD

Kdrama Oh my ladylord, Lee Min Ki and Nana (kdramaomo)

Last time, I was pretty excited about this drama, but from the very first episode, it was very clear to me that this drama is not my cup of tea. And it kept getting worse as I pushed through a few episodes just to see but seriously, it was painful for me to watch this. No shade to Nana and Lee Min-Ki but seriously, WHY?

(Side note: I may or may not write a review of it someday when I am bored out of my mind and want you all to suffer with me, hehe.)

HOW TO BE THIRTY

Kdrama How to be thirty (Kdramaomo)

I honestly forgot I was watching this until I saw it on my list, lol. The start of this drama was very cute but it soon loses its charm. The drama was supposed to be about being mature but it still felt like I was watching teenagers being annoying for the most part. So I am not sure if I will finish with this one. It is just a very average and forgetful drama.

Dramas I am looking forward to

MY ROOMMATE IS A GUMIHO

Kdrama My roommate is a gumiho, Jang Ki Yong and Lee Hye Ri (kdramaomo)

Jang Ki Yong is in it and I have watched almost all his work (except Born Again because what the hell was that drama honestly?). I have heard good reviews of this drama so far so I am excited to start this one. It's definitely next on my list.

HOSPITAL PLAYLIST 2

Hospital Playlist 2 Netflix Kdrama (Kdramaomo)

I mean is there a surprise here??? Hospital Playlist was in my favourite dramas of last year's list and it is definitely in my favourite dramas of all times list. I love love love love this drama and all these characters with all my heart. I am counting down the days for this drama to release.

Best Kdramas of 2020

That's it for now. I will see you soon a lot of content is coming up your way. Be sure to keep an eye out for that. What are you watching lately? Let me know in the comments below. :)
